This session is ideal for professionals considering a move from the corporate world into real estate, as well as current agents looking to sharpen their approach in the luxury and ultra-luxury segment. Ahmed draws on 20 years of corporate sales leadership and four years at Driven Properties to offer practical, structured advice.
Ahmed believes that every claim you make to a client should be backed by verifiable data — primarily from the Dubai Land Department and other official sources. Rather than relying on promises or wishful thinking, he uses transaction histories, price per square foot, and segment-specific data to build credibility and help clients make informed decisions.
He advises against relying on appearance or social media presence. Instead, he says agents should become true experts in a specific segment — knowing every transaction, every price movement, and every project inside out. He also recommends showing your RERA card, your registered transactions, and your DLD track record as proof of your specialization.
He uses silence and analysis rather than emotional reactions. When a client escalates, Ahmed pauses to assess whether the pressure is time-sensitive, ego-driven, or financially motivated—then responds with clear next steps and a defined timeline. He never validates emotions directly, focusing instead on the goal and the plan to get there.
Ahmed recommends specializing early. He spent his first week observing top-performing agents, then quickly chose the luxury and ultra-luxury segment and committed to mastering it. He believes agents should pick a segment, build deep expertise with 15 to 20 listings, and become the recognized authority in that space rather than spreading themselves thin.
